It's official we are having another girl! We are very excited. I have already got out all our little girl clothes from Avery and have been filling the dresser. I didn't realize I had soooo many clothes. It really is a blessing for us right now that we are having a little girl becasue we have everything that we need and since I will be student teaching and Brett will also be starting fast grad this fall we will have a little less money then usual.
Right now as I am posting this Avery is sitting beside me looking at the pictures and saying "baby, I love it, baby" so I think that she is very excited too! We are going to name her Oakley. Avery points at the pictures and says Oakie. It is very cute. It will be so fun to have a baby in our home again since Avery is growing way to fast. Here are the ultrasound pictures of our little Oakley. Enjoy!
This first one is her side profile.

By Request... 19 Weeks
So Nancy requested to see a picture of my belly so here it is. I think with Avery I probably already had 2 pictures of my belly by 19 weeks on my blog, but with this one it just isn't as fun to gain weight again so I haven't taken pictures. I am very excited to be having another baby and to get a big belly again but I am just at that stage that no one really likes :) My belly is much bigger at 19 wks with this one then it was with Avery, but I hear that happens :) We are very excited to find out if we will be having a boy or a girl this Friday the 9th so check back and we will have some more ultrasound pictures and the big news this weekend!
Soon to be Olympic Swimmer...
We got to take Avery swimming 3 times while we were in Burley. She loves the water! I am so glad that she does because I do also. She is such a good little swimmer already too. She was kicking her legs and moving her arms all by herself with the me holding her up of course. She loved to jump in from the side of the pool and she didn't mind when her face got wet. It was so fun to take her to the pool!Avery sporting her new swim wear.
I was teaching Avery how to blow bubbles. She kept trying when I told her to but she still needs some practice :)
I wish I could take her swimming everyday. I am going to teach her to be a good little swimmer!
Over the weekend we got lots of time to spend just hanging out with family. Brett even got to go golfing a couple times with my brothers which he really likes doing. We also took Avery to the 4th of July parade in Rupert where she got lots of candy and loved it. I love getting to spend time with my family and Avery loves to get to play with her cousins. Enjoy these pictures of us just hanging out...Avery and Mel were so sweet to each other... big hugs :)
Steve and Linds
I love my Brett!
Sum and Bri
Avery had so much fun playing on the tire swing at Grandpa's house!
Avery had a blast playing with Chase and the kitties. Thayne even brought his huge dog, Dugan, over one day. Avery liked him but not when he would wack her in the face with his huge tail.
What cute little girls having so much fun!
Grandpa, Grandma, and Avery just chillin in the swing :)
FireWorks!!!
Brett, Stephen, Lindsay, and I all went out and got some of our own fireworks to light off on the 4th. We just got a package of little fountain ones and really they weren't very good but it was still fun to have our own fireworks. And of course we got Sparklers! When we got to the fireworks stand the guy asked us what we wanted and linds and I quickly and very excitedly said sparklers so Brett then made the comment "two girls in there mid twenties need their sparklers." What a nice guy to make fun of us for liking sparklers. :) From my parents house where we did our fireworks we saw lots of other awesome fireworks all around us though. My pro sister-in-law linds and me!
These are our excited for fireworks faces
So we had a little accident with the sparklers. Avery didn't really want to hold one at first but I wanted her to so I helped her hold it and then she wanted to do it all by herself. When she was playing with her second sparkler the fire went all the way out and she grabbed the top of the stick where it had been hot and burnt her finger. She just got a little blister. We went and put cold water on it for a little and she was all better and ready to come see more fireworks. She is so tough :)

Father's Day
I know Father's Day was a few weeks ago but I am just now getting around to blogging about it. This Father's Day Brett got a grill! He was really excited to get to have lots of bbqs with friends. That is not the only time we use it though. It seems like Brett has been asking me almost every night what can I grill for dinner.... so of course I really like it too. He has made at least half the dinners since we have gotten it and that never really happened too often before :)

New Babies
A couple of our really good friends have had babies in the past little while. It is so fun to get to hold newborn babies. It makes me want my baby to come now, although I really don't yet, I don't know how I am going to do it with two children. One child takes up all my time already, but there are crazy people out there like my mom who had seven. She is amazing. I love you Mom! These are our friends Andrew and Arianna, but to Avery they are both Anna :) (sorry Andrew). They had a little boy and named him Jacob. Our Friends Kreg and Tati also had a little boy about five weeks ago and he is so cute too. His name is Jett. I will have to get a cute picture with Avery and him sometime. We are so happy for our friends and their little families!

Avery loves her Daddy
Summer time Weather... Finally!
The other day we it got warm enough to fill Avery's pool and let her splash around in it. We were excited to finally have some decent weather. It has been so rainy lately and windy. She loves to play outside.

Getting to be so BIG!
We got Avery's toddler bed put all together and thought we would let her try to start sleeping in it. It is the third night and so far it is a big hit. Avery was so excited to have a new bed. We found it at the D.I. and Brett took it to work and got some help welding on the side rail so she won't fall out. The first night Avery crawled right in and went right to sleep; she even waited for me to come in and get her in the morning before she got out of bed. The second night wasn't so smooth. She mostly just didn't want to go to bed at all. I finally got her to lay down but I stayed in there by her side till she fell asleep. When I went to get her in the morning she had already had some toys out and one shoe on. Tonight she is in there and I haven't heard a peep; so far so good. :) And of course I always like to share some pictures, so enjoy!
