The End of Another Semester

Well Friday was the last day of the summer semester. Brett is so excited to almost be done with school. He has one 4 credit class to take this fall and then he will be a college graduate. He is really ready to be done. We all are excited for the changes to come. Along with the excitement we are nervous and a little scared because we have know clue where we will end up and what exactly we will be doing. He is going to start job searching soon. Brett wants to work for a wellness corporation. When December comes I am sure we will be sad to leave Rexburg and the home we have made here together for the last 4 years, but it will be a good change that we are looking forward to.

Just another normal summer day

We are loving the summer! The weather has been so nice lately. We go to the park a lot and try to spend as much time as we can outside. Avery loves to ride the carousel at the park.

I love these sweet sweet pictures of my girls!

Happy 4th of July Weekend

We went to Burley for the 4th to see my family. We had a very fun weekend. This summer has been so fun so far. Grandpa got out the scooter to let Avery have a ride.

And of course we went swimming at grandma's pool.

Oakley doesn't love the water as much as Avery so she just watched for a little bit after her swim.

Summer invited us out to her house Sunday night for a hot dog roast and smore making then fireworks. Brian's family was there too so Avery had lots of friends to play with.

Even Oakley tried out gramcrackers.... and loved them!

Watching the fireworks!
We also watched the 4th of July parade in Rupert with Steve and Linds. We got lots of candy, popsicles, and Avery even got a beanie baby bear from the parade.

We had to go home Monday afternoon because Brett had to be back to school on Tuesday so we did our own little thing. We went swimming at the new Rexburg Rapids. It is a very fun place. Avery had a blast. She was sad to have to go when we did. We also got a few fireworks to shoot off ourselves. Our fourth of July weekend was filled with lots of fun. We are so grateful for our country and all who fight for our freedom!

Hurst Family Reunion

We had our Hurst family reunion this summer at CherryHill Campground in Utah. It was fun to get together with everyone. I love our family reunions. We got to do lots of fun activities and just hang out together which is always fun.
At the campground they have lots of activities to do there. Brett rocked the rock wall!
Avery had fun jumping with Kiah.
Afton was a speedy little climber.

We also got in a fun game of mini golf with Steve and Lindsay. The prego lady won (Lindsay not me... no I am not pregnant again).

We all also went to see Cars 2 at the drive in. We were there about an hour and a half early so Nancy's van became the hang out and play spot for all the girls.

Another fun thing we did was go to the dinosaur museum/park in Ogden. The kids really liked it. I know Avery had a blast. My mom even made each family their own family reunion shirts to wear that day.

And we just hung out at the campground and played games together. It was so fun for Avery to get to play with all of her cousins. She loves to have other kids to play with. They also have a water park at Cherryhill that we played at one day but I didn't get any pictures, we were having too much fun swimming!

It was good to see you all and have fun at the reunion together. Love you all!!! Looking forward for the next one!
