Well I guess it's about time I post about our Christmas. We had a great Christmas. We were so excited to have our first Christmas in our first little home. It snowed so good one Sunday night we hurried and bundled up to go enjoy the snow. Avery and dad built this snowman while I was helping Oakley get bundled then we built another one in the front yard all together. We pulled to girls around on the sled and had a great time playing in the first real good snow of the season.
On Christmas eve we spent the evening at my grandma's house having dinner and visiting with my family and singing Christmas songs. All the kids put on a little nativity play. Avery was an angel and was so excited to wear a halo for the nativity. Oakley just wanted to sit with me so we just watched together. When we got home we let the girls open a present (their Christmas jammies)
On Christmas morning we had to wake up the girls at like 8:00. They like their sleep :)
They were so excited to see what Santa brought them. Oakley got a new baby.... she can never have too many babies and Avery got a Brave barbie along with a bunch of other little stuff.
We let the girls pick out a present for each other at the store before Christmas. This is after Oakley opened the present Avery got for her. It was so cute to see how excited they were to give each other something.
Oakley loves minnie mouse!
Avery got a camera to take pictures with mom.... She was taking pictures of everything!!
Grandma Stephens made the girls princess barbie dresses. Avery put them on all her barbies then lined them up and took pictures of each one.
Santa also brought the girls Stompeez!!
I realized I stopped taking pictures after we got so into our Christmas. But we had a wonderful day. We went and spent some time at my parents house in the afternoon. We are so blessed to have all that we have. We are thankful for this holiday and the kind of person it reminds us to be, and that our Savior lived and does live.
