My girls are growing so fast. Oakley is now 6 and a half months old. She smiles a lot and has the cutest little laugh. She can sit up really good, she can scoot around and when she tries to get her knees up under her she just face plants into the floor, but crawling will start soon enough. She is a HUGE momma's girl. She eats baby food now and has seemed to love every kind I have offered her so far except for peaches. Her bald spot on the back of her head is starting to grow back in and she has a ton of hair on the top of her head so I just started putting a cute little pony tail right on the top of her head as you can see. Oakley also just had her tear ducts probed so hopefully no more goopy watery eyes all the time YAY! Avery seems to like her more and more I think because Avery kind of plays with her now and she loves to be a big helper when we ask her to play with Oakley for a minute or give her the binki.... most of the time :)

It amazes me how fast this little girl has grown. She has learned so much. She always says the funniest things too. At least once a day she makes us laugh with the things that she says. She is such a little girl too. After I do her hair... if dad is home she always goes up to him and says "I look pretty Dad?" She loves to sing and dance... She is quite the dancer. She just spins in circles, round and round. Her favorite song to sing is the song from Tangeld "Flower gleam and glow..." She also sings her ABCs, Jesus wants me for a sunbeam, popcorn popping, wheels on the bus, and I am sure there are other ones I can't think of right now. Avery is so glad that it is summer time now too. She says "mom there's not snow anymore so now we can go to the park!" We have already been a couple times this week and we will probably go at least one more time this week. She loves to eat sweets and that is about it... just kidding she likes fruit and broccoli (which amazed me) and loves any kind of crackers or breakfast foods. I just have a hard time getting her to eat a actual meal that I make. I love this little girl to pieces. She is so sweet and gives the best hugs and has the cutest little smile.
As for life for Brett and I.... Brett just registered for his last semester of classes. WOO HOO!!! He is almost there! He is enjoying the summer weather golfing. We like to go together when we can. For me life is pretty much the same with a new hobby, photography, added on to all the other things I like to do. I love to play with my girls and spend time with Brett. I am so grateful for my little family. The really are the best!
