2 Years

Brett and I have been married 2 wonderful years now. Our anniversary was on the 25th of August. We enjoyed an evening at home together and when Brett came home from work he surprised me with this new bed frame. I love it and I love you hun!

Bass Fishing

We also went bass fishing on the river. I caught my first fish (well actually second because I caught like a 3 inch long one when I was littler). Brett caught 3 fish and Kreg and Tati both caught one.

We went out on the Snake River and played with our friends. We both got to wake board for the first time this summer and the first time for me in two summers. I even got up on my first try. Brett also tried slalom skiing. It took him a couple tries to get up but he liked it. We did pretty good.

He had to hold his breath for a few seconds while he got up so he wouldn't drowned. It was funny watching him get up. That was my favorite part.

Wallow Lake

We went to Wallowa Lake in Oregon about a week ago and camped with Brett's family for a week. We had a really fun time. Avery loved it! We loved it!

5 Generations

While we were camping we drove into a little town about 20 minutes from were we camping to have a 5 generation picture taken. This is Brett's Great Grandma, Applegranny, his Grandma, his Mom and him and Avery of course. Applegranny was excited to meet Avery and Trevor (Ryan's little boy).

We all rode up the tramway to the top of the mountain and went on a few little hikes. It was a fun afternoon. I think that this place is so pretty. Getting ready to go up

There were millions of chipmunks and Brett was making friends with them. There is one on his ankle.

Avery liked the hiking, I would have too if someone was carrying me. Just kidding. I liked it. She did get kind of heavy though. Avery was pointing at every thing and smiling. She loves being outside.

Playing on the Lake

One day while we were at Wallowa Brett's dad rented a boat for us so that we could go play out on one of the floating docks out in the lake. Thanks Dad! We had a really fun time jumping in to lake and swimming around. I know there are a million pictures for this post but I took too many and couldn't just pick a few. It is such a pretty lake, but it was pretty cold. I think they said that it was like 67 degrees. Avery had tons of fun she loved crawling around the dock and she got in with me but only lasted about 20 seconds before she decided it was too cold. Brett dipped her in a few times and she loved it. She layed her head back and just laughed. It was so cute. Travis, Michelle, me, and Brett.

Ryan, Rachelle, and Travis all swam from the dock to the side of the lake. Brett started swimming over there too, but they started coming back so Brett turned around and came back too. Brett is the one that is closest in the picture.
