Easter Overload!

I have way too many pictures to share with you about our Easter but here they are anyways. I put them in the wrong order and didn't want to re-upload them so you can go to the bottom and read up if you want. We had a wonderful Easter.
The night before Easter we decorated eggs together. Brett is so good to help the girls do this. Oakley was crazy and about spilt the dye multiple times so we finally just gave her the white crayon to draw on the eggs with before we dyed them.
We made just about every egg sparkly. Avery had fun dumping sparkles on all the eggs... that was her favorite part.
Showing off their colored eggs :)
We had a wonderful Easter morning. It is always fun to see the surprise in the girls faces. Oakley just lit up when she saw that ball sitting by her basket.
Checkin out the goods from the Easter bunny.

Avery got a new princess crown and earrings. Doesn't she look gorgeous :)
The Easter Bunny also hid the eggs that we decorated the night before for the girls to find...

Here the girls are coloring a picture that was in their baskets.

We also made some bunny cookies on our own... We ate the other ones too fast.
There Oakley is just eating the cookies again.

Avery is pro at decorating cookies now and she loads them up.
Can you guess which cookies she decorated?
I also took the girls to a local Easter egg hunt.

Avery showing off her loot
Yay! Oakley even got bubbles for a prize with a game they had.
They got a little closer to the Easter bunny here, but that's as close as they would get. And notice how Avery is never in these pictures with the Easter Bunny.... she even stays behind Oakley
We also got invited to go to a friend in the wards house to decorate cookies with them. The girls loved it. Oakley mostly just ate cookies but Avery really enjoyed frosting and putting mounds of sprinkles on them.

Yum!

And in the craziness of all our Easter stuff we were lucky enough to have Thayne and Amber stop by here on there way home from Oregon and stay for a night. Avery was so happy to see Melanie and Makiah. We are so glad you guys were able to stop by. We love you and miss you.
All the girls playing dress up.
I also took the girls to the farmer's exchange to see the chicks and bunnies they had. The girls loved them.

A little bit before Easter we heard that they were having some Easter activities at the mall so we went and the girls got to decorate a cookie and get a bunny hat and also see the Easter bunny but my kids don't like to get to close....
This is as close as they would go to the Easter bunny.

Little Munchkins

Just have to share some more pictures of my girls because I think they are the cutest little munchkins. We live right across the street from the park so we go play quite often. The girls both LOVE the park. Oakley has gotten so big, well they both have, but Oakley can go all over the play stuff at the park now. She is just too funny and I think that we may have a miniature Brett on our hands.
The girls playing with dad through the holes in the tunnel
My adorable little 3 year old!!!

This is what her hair usually looks like after she is done playing at the park.... so much static!
Don't you love that smile?
I know we are totally LAME, but I have to post about it so that I remember never to do this again... although I am wearing this shirt as I type this post right now (it's comfy). This is Brett's Aunt Tara and me. We all got into the hunger games and read the book; even Brett did in like 2 days and I have never seen him read an actual book! We are too old and tired :) to go to the midnight premiere so we went the next week and to a matinee. I know matinees are for old people or young kids, but Brett, me, Tara, and Trey went. And yes we made these LAME shirts for it. We thought it was so fun, but when we got there we felt pretty dumb and I didn't even wear a jacket so I could cover it up. If you are gonna make a shirt for a movie at least go to the midnight premiere. But don't we look cute? :)
