Family Picture

We went out while everyone was here and I did family pictures of all of Brett's family with the help of Tara (Brett's Aunt); it's a little hard to push the button and be in the picture also :) I love them. I think that they turned out really good.

My happy cute little family.

Kevin and Teri. My personal favorite is the first one of these two :)
Avery was such a pill, but we still love her :) There was no getting her to smile. Oh well at least she wasn't crying in every picture except this one.
Michelle

Travis and Julie. Aren't they cute?

Ryan, Rachel, Trevor, and Emily :)
Hope you enjoyed :)

Some Recent Happenings

Lately I have been just hanging out with the girls everyday. We play lots and make lots of crafts. Grandma got out the little tikes vanity that she has had for many years and the girls love it. I just wanted to some share some recent pictures...

It also snowed here quite a bit so I took Avery out to play in the snow. The snow was only good for like one day (the day it was snowing) because the next day there was freezing rain and all the snow was icy and as hard as a rock, but we got enjoy it for one day. Oakley didn't get to experience playing in the snow though because she was sick.
Avery thought it was so funny to throw snowballs at Reagan.
We tried to build a snowman but it just kept falling apart.
Also there was a big event in Brett's family just recently. Brett's little brother Travis got married. WOOHOO! Weddings are so fun! We went back to Rexburg a few days after Christmas for their wedding and then there was a reception in Kennewick a week later. The girls got pretty new dresses for the wedding.
Here is the whole fam at the reception.
They had a dance at the end and it was so fun. I got my moves on and Brett even dance with me a bit.

A Very Merry Christmas

I love Christmas. Our family had a very good Christmas. On Christmas Eve Brett's family had a Christmas party with a white elephant gift exchange and that is always fun. That night we let the girls open one gift.....
Their Christmas jammies of course
Christmas morning we actually had to go wake up the girls like last year. I guess we didn't have to, they would have woken up eventually but Brett and I we too excited to let them sleep past 7:30.
Avery and Oakley both got Barbies from Santa.
They also got these fun microphones that sing... not sure why we did that :)
Oakley was funny, instead of opening the presents she liked to climb up and stand on them. She is such a goof.

My mom made Oakley this cutest little rain poncho and Avery the jacket she is wearing in the next picture.
Santa also brought her this indoor hopscotch mat.
The ball she got was a favorite of hers and all the cousins running around.
This next thing they got I was so proud of. I wanted to come up with something new that would be fun for them, so for the last few months I have been collecting, making, and putting together stuff for dress up.
There Oakley goes again :)
Here it is there's lots of stuff in there. It was a big hit!
I made this Rapunzel hair for it too because Avery is always going around holding a blanket to the bottom of her hair saying look at my long hair.

I realized I didn't really get many pictures of Brett and I but we had a wonderful Christmas too. Brett spoiled me with some shoes, a jacket, and a swim suit and I spoiled him with a watch, some books that he wanted, and a new electric razor.

Christmas Traditions

Although most of our stuff is in storage we still had to break out our own Christmas tree and set it up with the girls. Once we had our tree up it felt more like Christmas. The girls enjoyed decorating it.

Oakley even pulled it over a couple of times so we could set it up again :)
We took the girls to a place here that had some reindeer so we could show the girls Santa's reindeer.
We tried sitting on Santa's lap too but that didn't go as well as planned.... they liked the reindeer better.
And of course we had to do the gingerbread houses! Oakley ate lots of smarties.
Avery and Peyton (Brett's cousin had fun with all the candy)
Avery helped decorate my beautifully.
Only a few of us joined in on this fun... the guys thought it was more fun to watch football or something but they really missed out. Here is mine and Avery's house.

Brett's a Grad

Brett Graduated!!!! Woo Hoo! It feels so good to be done with school... at least for a little while :) Brett's family came down and we all went to dinner. My parents also came down to go to the graduation. Thank you everyone for coming and showing Brett your support!
I am so happy that you stuck with it Brett... even though at times we both hated it. I love you and all that you do for me and our little family. You are a wonderful man.
(I know crappy picture... peoples heads were in the way) but here he is getting his diploma cover.
What a stud in that cap and gown.
Our little family so happy for dad!

And I just had to add a few pictures from the pre move.
Avery giving Oakley raspberries. They think it's so funny.

I have much more to blog since we have moved and Christmas. Hopefully I will get on that soon :)
