Feeling Grateful

I love this boy... and this laugh...

I am so grateful for these two people. They make me so happy. Brett is such a good man and I love him so much. I am so grateful that I get to be with him forever. I am so grateful for all that he does for Avery and me. He is such a good husband and Dad! I am so grateful for my little girl too. Children are so wonderful, and it amazes me how I can get so frusterated with her sometimes and she still loves me and thinks that I am the best. I am so glad that I have her. She always makes me smile and when I hear that little laugh it always puts me in a better mood. I love being a mom and wife. It's the best. I am so grateful for so many things that I have, but I am most grateful for family and the knowledge that I have that I will be able to be with them forever. I am so grateful for our Savior and the plan that he has for us. I know that he lives and I am grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life.

Standin and Walkin

Here are some pictures or Avery standing all by herself. We also got her this toy so that she can walk with it. Here is a video of her walking too, but she can't quite do that all by herself yet, but soon enough she will be. Avery did take one step by herself without holding on to anything the other night when she was trying to get from a chair she was standing up by to Brett. We were both pretty shocked. She is growing so fast!

I Scream for Ice Cream

My little girl is getting so BIG! Avery is so fun. We love her so much and all the joy she brings into our lives. Avery is now standing all by her self she doesn't even need something to pull herself up anymore she just stands up all on her own... when she wants to of course... not when I want her to so that I can show someone. She is going to be running in no time. She crawls fast enough already, but it is so fun to see her grow. Don't you love her shirt. I thought that it fit her perfectly becasue she LOVES to scream ALL THE TIME and she LOVES ice cream (don't eat it in front of her unless you plan on sharing).

Near Death Experience

Sorry these pictures are so small but Brett took them on his phone and I tried to make them bigger and it just made them way blurry. Well Brett's little brother Travis and his friend Connor came to Rexburg this weekend and they all went golfing Saturday morning. They were getting ready to tee of the 6th hole when they saw a plane coming toward them from the nearby airport and heard someone yell "RUN". So they all three started booking it. Luckily no one got hurt. I guess some people were working on this plane becasue it hadn't been running. No one was in the plane but two guys were trying to get it to start by doing something outside the plane and it started and just took off on them. I didn't believe it when Brett called me and told me that he almost got hit by a plane while golfing but sure enough they would have it they hadn't started running away.

Haircut

I was getting so sick of my hair! I never wore it down anymore because it just annoyed me, so I always just threw it up in a ponytail and today I decided it was time to get it cut. This picture isn't the best but I really like it!

TweNtY TwO

I had my 22nd birthday on Friday. It was such a great day! I didn't have to work and neither did Brett. So all three of us went down to Idaho Falls and to get the gift that Brett was buying for me. He got me this new coffee table for our apartment! I love it! Thank you hun you are so sweet! Then we walked around the mall for a little while and then went home and I got to just spend sometime with my two favorite people at home. That night we went to our ward party where they served steak for dinner, and I got to feed Brett ice cream while we were both blinfolded, that was funny :) Later when we got home my friends Celeste and Blake came over and surprised me with a cake and we all watched the new Fast and Furious together. It was such a fun day. Thank you everyone for all the calls and cards.

Camping

Sunshine and Summer time

We went camping this past Thursday through Sunday with my family for our little family reunion. It was so good to see everyone and spend time playing together. We camped at CherryHill campground and did a few other things throughout the weekend. CherryHill campground has a little waterpark, batting cages, mini golf, a rock wall, and some other fun stuff.
We spent an afternoon at the little water park that they have at Cherryhill campground. They have a little area for younger kids, a lazy river, and three water slides. We had a really good time. We took Avery on the lazy river and she liked it even when they started pouring water on our heads when we would go under certain things around the lazy river she didn't start screaming, she just gave a face like "what the heck". Brett and I went down the tube water slide a lot it was so fun.


Avery loved crawling around in the water. We had to watch her so that she didn't go to far. Afton had a fun time playing with Avery. Love you Afton!

Avery got all tired out and had to take a little nap so that she could play some more.

This is the Place

After the zoo we stopped here. This was were Brigham Young stopped and told the pioneers that this is where they were stopping. it was pretty cool to see. There were so many people there because it was pioneer day.

Batting cages and Mini golf

Brett hit at the batting cages A LOT while we were camping at Cherryhill. I did once but I didn't do nearly as good as Brett did.
Brett had a ball from the fast pitch machine foul off and hit his ankle and these little dots were the welts that were left on his ankle.

We Mini golfed with Steve and Linds and Brett won... I was the Loser.

A Day at the Hogle Zoo

On Friday we went into Salt Lake and went to the zoo. Here are some pictures of it. I know there are lots and the are in backwards order but oh well. Grandpa bought Avery a Zebra at the gift shop.

Brett was trying to be a gopher or whatever that little animal is.

This leopard was way cool and moving around every where.

This elephant was about 21 months pregnant and they go for about 21 to 22 months. To bad we didn't get to see a baby elephant. I was pretty impressed way prego and still doing tricks.
