So busy!

We have been so busy with a million different things lately that I haven't taken the time to blog. My photography business has really taken off and I have been swamped lately. I also started a little craft business recently that has done really well also and spending time being a wife and mother. This has all made me a very busy lady. I love my life though! I love all that I am doing and I love where we are in our life right now. I have the two most adorable little girls. Avery just turned 4 and I can not believe how grown up she is. I have a 4 year old! That is just crazy to me. Other big news, Brett and I just bought our first home together. We plan to make some big changes to it but it fits us now and we are enjoying having our own little home. It will be a long process of updating and changing but we are excited. I will have to take time to post some recent pictures of happenings in our life soon maybe in a week or two when the fall photo sessions slow down a bit.... holy cow have I been busy. I am so grateful for it though. It has been a great blessing to us and I am really enjoying it.

We made it 5 years :)

Brett and I celebrated our five year anniversary on August 25th! I love this man so much. A shout out to him... He is a great husband. He does so much for me and our little family. The last five years being married to him have been so fun and rewarding. We decided after being married for five years and having a little girl who is almost four and having never been away for more than a few hours we deserved to have a getaway together just Brett and me. Thankful to my sister in law and bro Steve for watching our kids. We took off and spent the night in bountiful and went to Lagoon the next day. It was Brett's first experience at an amusement park. We had a great time! I love spending time with my best friend. Love you Brett!

David Nail Concert

I love fair time in Burley Idaho. And luckily Nancy was in town during fair so we went to the David Nail concert together. It was so fun. The last time we went together was when I was pregnant with Avery. We have so much fun at concerts together and dance the entire time.

"Let it rain, Let it pour..."
We even got a picture with his band. They said David was busy talking with his wife on the phone so we figured that was ok and she was more important than us :) although it would have been cool to get a picture with him also.

We went to the fair as a family a couple of times. We had a fun time at the rodeo and seeing all the animals. Avery had a blast petting every animal she saw!
Oakley loved her ice cream cone. what a mess!
 Oakley hated the pigs.

Although Avery loved them all she said the sheep were her favorite.

Happiness :)

My girls are getting so big. I love them so much. They bring so much joy into mine and Brett's life. They are the best of friends and are the sweetest little girls. I couldn't ask for anything better! My life is great. I love my husband and my girls lots and lots and am so grateful I have been blessed with them!

Camping at Lake Cleveland

Well Before the camping.... I wanted to post these photos that I haven't posted yet. My mother in law made these super cute blankets and pillows for my girls beds. I love them and so do the girls!
We made a quick and spur of the moment camping trip up to lake Cleveland with my sister Nancy and her kids and my brother Steve and his family. We took up some kayaks and Nan took her paddle board to play on the lake.

Don't we look beautiful in the morning? :) I know I have some super hot hair.
It was so pretty up here in the mountains
 Jack likes Uncle Brett.

Brett took off to fish. I took the girls out on the double kayak together but didn't get a pic but they loved it and we had a great time.
That was our only camping we did this summer but we had a great time and hope to camp more next summer.

I have been really neglecting my blog lately. I have been so busy. We have had a wonderful summer and really love it here together. I have had my photography really picking up and I have been putting all kinds of crafts on a facebook page for here and have gotten a ton of orders from that. So that and my sweet family is what I have been spending most of my time doing. Hopefully I will be able to post some recent pictures on here soon.

Playing on the Snake

We went and played on the river last Saturday. Nancy and her family are in town for a couple weeks so they brought their paddle board and called up some of Greg's relatives to play at the river with.
Oakley got her first boat ride! She thought it was alright but I don't think she was too excited when we got to the river because I told her we were gonna go swimming and she was really excited thinking we were going to the pool so we took her to the pool after we all played on the river.

Nancy showing her skills on the paddle board.
Brett and I rode the tube together and held on for dear life (I got tube burn on my elbow to prove it). It felt like they were trying hard to throw us off but we were awesome and didn't get thrown off until I pushed Brett off at the end :)
Avery and Emery have lots of fun playing together

Now Greg showing us his skills...
Brett got to wakeboard a few times too. He did pretty good for not having done it for I think 2 years.
Nancy took the girls out on the paddle board. Avery loved it even though I put her on there crying she came off with a big grin on her face.
Greg teaching me how to master the paddle board. Brett did it too but I didn't get a pic.

Oakley was ready to go to the "real pool" when we were done here.
We are loving life and having lots of fun. We love the summer time and all the fun activities that come with summer!

FIshing in the Pool

Brett went fishing with his friend Kreg and caught this big fish. He looks like such a stud in this picture :)
Brett has been trying to go fishing every chance he gets. He loves it. The other night he went to the store and stopped by the river at a place my dad told him about on the way home. He was lucky enough to bring home this little fish to show the girls and eat. He usually just does catch and release with bass but he wanted to show the girls. He said it taste pretty good. He made me try a piece but was so tiny; hardly enough to taste.
The girls thought it was pretty cool. The girls pool was set up in the back yard and had water in it so Brett put the fish in and it started swimming around. Can't believe it lived that long being out of the water. The girls got out there pole and tried to catch it out of their pool. It was a pretty fun night for the girls.

They even sat right by Brett and watched him gut it and everything. It was very fascinating to them :)

A few fun things

Brett got a new truck this month! We sold the Jetta in a day and got this truck. It looks a lot nicer than the money we paid for it. It is a nice truck though. Brett really likes it. It was sad to see the Jetta go because it was such a good little car and it was our first big purchase together.
Lately we have just been doing a lot of playing. The girls love to swim at home or at grandma's big pool.
Also my friend Celeste moved from Colorado to Oregon and they stopped by to say hi on the way. I hadn't got to see her little guy yet so it was fun to get to meet him. Thanks for stopping Celeste!
