Mom and Avery

Being a Mom is a fun, hard, tiring, but rewarding job. I love it. I love Avery. She is such a wonderful little girl. She does funny little things and makes the funniest faces everyday that makes us laugh. She is a happy baby for the most part but she does get fussy almost every evening for a little while and we just have to be patient with her. Brett and I are both learning to have more patients. We love our little family! Nap time :) We love nap time.
Avery was being pretty fussy and any way I held her she was still being fussy except for when I held her like this and she fell asleep with me holding her like this. We thought it was pretty funny.

5 Weeks

My friend Tatiana told me that her mom used to put her in a basket with a blanket on top of the dryer to put her to sleep sometimes and Avery gets pretty fussy sometimes so I decided to try it and what do you know she fell right asleep. Avery is getting lots bigger she weighs 8lbs 5 oz now.

Blessing Day

Avery was blessed this last Sunday here in Rexburg. Brett did a wonderful job. Her blessing was so wonderful. We were so happy that our families and friends could be here to share the day with us. Brett and I are so grateful for all the help that we have had. Thank you everyone. We are so grateful for our little family.

Peace, Love, Rock and Roll

We went to Idaho Falls on Saturday and went to the mall. Brett and I found this outfit at Old Navy and thought that it was the coolest outfit so of course we got it for her.

Halloween

Avery got to be a skeleton for her first halloween, for half of the day at least until it got spit up on. We didn't do a whole lot for halloween, but we had fun hanging out with Brett's family. We had quite a few trick or treaters and we all watched Iron Man together. Avery made a very cute skeleton.

You're not changing Me!

Avery spit up all over her outfit so I went to change her and as you can see she didn't really want to be changed. She had a tight grip on the changing table bar and her blanket. Avery is getting so big already, she holds her head up all the time.

Growing Avery

It's almost been two weeks since Avery was born. We are both doing very well. She has changed so much since the day she was born and I have been healing very well. We went to the doctor again and they weighed Avery. She is now 7 lbs 1 oz. She usually wants to eat every three hours, but last night she slept for six hours with out waking up. I was so happy. It's fun but kind of tiring being a new mom. It's been great to have so much help. I can never get enough pictures of Avery. She is so adorable. Carving Pumpkins

We really wanted to go to a pumpkin patch and pick out pumpkins, but there really wasn't much left at the pumpkin patch so we just went and picked out pumpkins at Broulims. Brett and I had fun carving pumpkins; Avery didn't enjoy it so much, she just wanted to sleep. Brett carved the one on the left and I did the other one.

One Week

Avery is one week old today! It really doesn't feel like it, maybe because we were in the hospital for half of the week. She is so fun to have. We love to talk naps together and Brett loves to lay with her and hold her when he gets home from work. She is such a beautiful little girl. She is such a good baby. We are so grateful to have her in our lives.

New Addition

Here are some pictures of our little Avery. We are home from the hospital now. She is 6 lbs 12 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. She is the most beautiful little girl. We are so grateful and so happy. I'm still recovering and will write more when I am feeling up to it.

Avery update...

I went to the doctor again today and he said I am dialated about 2 to 3 cm. I can't explain how excited, scared, nervous, anxious, and afraid I am. He said that he wouldn't be suprised if I go into labor with in the next couple of days. I just can't express how much I am grateful for the wonderful pregnancy I have had. Brett and I are so grateful that everything has gone so smoothly for us and Avery up to this point. Hopefully she comes in the next week; if not when I go to the doctor next wednesday they will set a date for me to have the baby. I will let you all know when it happens.

Almost Here

Well I am just a little less than 2 weeks away from my due date. I am ready or so I think right now. We are excited and I am anxious. The doctor said that nothing has really happened yet, but I'm hoping things will start to happen soon. I haven't even felt many contractions, but Avery moves around like crazy and sometimes you can see my whole stomach move, it's kind of cool. She only likes to move when I am relaxing. I feel great though and am way excited to see little Avery.
