WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!! We went to our first docotors appointment on the 22nd! We are excited to have another child and Avery is so into babies right now. It is so fun. Our neighbor has a baby and she loves it. She already points to my belly when we ask her where our baby is. The other day she was carrying around the ultrasound picture saying baby baby, and she always points to it where we have it hanging on the fridge and says baby. She is going to be such a good big sister. The baby is due on the 30th of November. The heart beat was 166 beats per minute and they said that everything looked good so far. It is so amazing to go into the doctor and get to see the ultrasound and the little heart beating. It is also amazing how something so small inside me can take so much of my energy. I have been feeling great but I have just been tired and I get bad headaches sometimes, but that was how I was with Avery too. We are hoping for a boy now but we will be very happy to be blessed with another little girl too. If we have a boy his name will be Easton, and if our baby is a girl her name will Oakley. Here is our little one at 8 weeks and one day...

Washington for the Break
We finished our Winter semester of school at BYU-I and then took off to Washington for the week break before Brett started school again. I am done with all of my classes here... now just student teaching is left. I am pretty nervous for that and hoping that the summer goes by real slow and then the fall flies by. In December I will be a college grad! :) Anyways on to our spring break trip... we drove over to Washington and we had a good time playing out in the warm weather. It was really nice there compared to how it had been in Rexburg. Avery had a ton of fun playing with Peyton, Brett's cousin, everyday while we were there. Here are just a few fun pictures I took of them playing together. Avery loved getting to play outside everyday!
We went down by the river and feed the ducks one day and now Avery loves to say "quack quack." I think right now it is her favorite animal sound. She liked them until one very big goose came way to close then she just wanted me to hold her and kept saying "scary" for a few minutes until she got brave enough again to throw bread to them.
One reason we went to Washington was so that Brett could help his Dad put a sprinkler system in their yard. Brett has been working with a landscaping company so he is pretty good with that stuff. What was he thinking wanting to go help work on something this big during our break :) ... just kidding. He enjoyed it and enjoyed working with his Dad. They had a guy come in and trench their yard but they still had to cut through the tree roots and pull out giant boulders, and lay all the pipe and sprinklers and everything. By the time we had to go home it still wasn't all done. It is quite a big job. Hope the work is going well Mom and Dad!
Us girls got to pull out all the rocks so they didn't get pushed back in on the pipes.... we also got to just watch :)
My hunny is such a hard worker.
And here is just an Avery update. She is now the big 18 months old. We went to the doctor today and she weighs 19.15 pounds. She is pretty tiny but really tall. She is in the 2% for her weight and the 86% for her height. She is so fun and she loves to talk. She says so many words I don't think I could write them all on here because you would get bored of reading them. But on thing she loves to say is "stop it" which I taught her how to say... but not on purpose. She is learning so much everyday and she is always so busy and full of energy. I wish I had as much energy as she does. She is so fun. We love her.
Toenails
I painted Avery's toenails for the first time a few weeks ago. She loved it she kept pointing at her toes and would show them to me and them she had to point out everyone else's toes that were painted. I guess we will have to keep her toes painted from now on :)

Holidays are funner with Children
We have had a very good Easter weekend! We are so grateful for our Savior and the life that he lived. This weekend we got the opportunity to watch conference which we really enjoyed. We had a very relaxing weekend staying at our home with one another. Here are some pictures of what we did to celebrate Easter. I made Avery this Easter dress, something that my mom always did for the girls in my family growing up. I got it done in time for her to wear to church the week before conference. She looked adorable in it. I am so glad that I know how to sew. Even though it is frusterating sometimes it is always fun and and feels so good to see the finished product. Of course she wouldn't just stand and let me get a cute picture of her smiling and wearing it, but these are cute pictures or her and her everyday playing.

First time at Targhee...
So this past weekend we went to Targhee for the first time. It was beautiful there. Here are a few pictures of us with the Tetons in the background. Aren't they beautiful. Brett's little sister, Michelle, came with us and one of my really good friends, Celeste. We were having lots of fun until.... Brett, me, and Michelle
Beginning to look like SPRING
Just thought I would share some fun pictures of Avery and I playing. She loves to play outside. We are so glad that it is finally starting to warm up around here so we can play outside more and more. It's probably only about 45 degrees here in Rexburg right now pretty normally but that is warm for us.

A Few Seconds in the Life of Avery
Here are a couple of recent videos of Avery. She is so fun. The first one is just her and dad playing. This next one is so funny. I was making Avery some pork and beans the other night and I taught her what beans say (or what beans make you say) it was pretty darn funny. Hope you enjoy the videos!

Boarding
Brett and I went up to Kelly Canyon this last weekend to snowboard for our first time this season. We love to go snowboarding but we usually only get to go a couple times a season. I have been learning for the last couple years and have always just been butterflying down the mountain but now I can actually carve down the mountain. My last time down before we left I carved all the way down and only fell once! Brett was patient with me and helped me learn. Thanks hun. Love you! Someday I will be able to keep up with you! :)
This is me practicing and Brett going off a jump.... to bad he didn't land it but he slide a long way on his stomach :)
p.s. Greg don't judge my snowboarding skill by this video. This was at the beginning of the night by the end I was carving good and turning fast. i will show you... someday
