A Day at the Hogle Zoo

On Friday we went into Salt Lake and went to the zoo. Here are some pictures of it. I know there are lots and the are in backwards order but oh well. Grandpa bought Avery a Zebra at the gift shop.

Brett was trying to be a gopher or whatever that little animal is.

Usually these aren't that exciting but he was jumping to get leafs off the tree.

This leopard was way cool and moving around every where.

They had a bird show that we watched.

This elephant was about 21 months pregnant and they go for about 21 to 22 months. To bad we didn't get to see a baby elephant. I was pretty impressed way prego and still doing tricks.

Carrie's Wedding and More

It seems like we have been going somewhere every weekend for the last little while and this last weekend we went to Twin Falls to see my good friend Carrie be sealed in the temple to this good man Mitch. It was so awesome to be there. I whipped out my camera to take pictures as they were coming out of the temple, but unfortunatley I did not check to see if my camera battery was charged and guess what... it wasn't. So I just got this one picture at there reception. Her dress was so pretty and she looked so beautiful. I'm so happy for you. Like you Carrie! The main reason we went to Burley that weekend was to go to Carrie's wedding, but of course we fit in some other fun stuff too. Brett and Kreg went fishing and caught 12 trout. I guess they said they actually caught like 30 but the limit they could take was 12 so they brought 12 back. They had a great morning fishing.

Later that evening we were going to go boating with Kreg and Tati and we got down to the river and the boat wouldn't start. Oh well maybe it was a blessing... but doesn't Avery look cute in her life jacket. So instead of boating we went back to Kreg's and ate some trout.

Brett's New Truck

Brett finally got a truck. He has wanted one for a long time. It's a 2001 GMC Sonoma.

Stadium of Fire

We went to the Stadium of Fire in Provo this year for the firework show. It was so awesome. I have never been before but I really thought that it was so cool. We went with our friends Kreg and Tati and Kreg's family. They had extra tickets so they invited us to go with them. Thanks again! The Jonas Brothers were the big preformers, I am not a big fan of them but it was still fun. When we got there I found out that SheDaisy was going to sing at it too. I was so excited to hear them. I got up and was dancing around. I pretty much made a fool of myself becasue everyone around was looking at me, but I had a great time! I thought it was so funny how a lot of people on the ground swormed the stage when the Jonas Brothers got on, but no one moved when SheDaisy was preforming. SheDaisy is way better!!! The fireworks were good but I didn't take any pictures of them. Check out my pictures to see what went on at the Stadium of Fire These jets flew over to start off and one of the pilots was announcing live from his plane on the screen who was going to be preforming.

They brought in all the flags that our country has had up till now with the 50 stars.

They raised the flag that they have been using at all the football games in Provo and was also hung in Salt Lake during the olympics and announced that there would be something special going on with it later...

I had tons of fun dancing... Nancy it would have been even more awesome if you were there too.

Dancing and fireworks. They shot some fireworks through out the program from the field, but most were at the end from one side of the stadium bleachers.

Brett and I had a great time... We left Avery with Ryan and Rachel (thank you for watching her we really appreciate it) They said that she enjoyed watching fireworks too.

About the flag thing... They announced that it was time to retire the flag so they brought it in and put it in that barrel type thing and burnt it.

Here is a video that Brett took of me dancing, but really he didn't even get the best of it. Check out Becky, Kreg's mom, in the back. She was getting into it too.

I also want to say how grateful I am to be able to have my freedom and live in this country. I am so grateful for all of those who are fighting for our country and who have fought for our country. Thank you!

4th of July Parade

I made a Avery a cute 4th of July bow and we got her a cute little dress. She was so patriotic. We went to the parade in Provo. It was a pretty good parade. It started to rain a little at the beginning of the parade but luckily it stopped and we enjoyed the parade.

Our Characters

We went to Provo for the 4th of July weekend. We stayed with Ryan and Rachel. We did lots of fun things and had a great weekend. The day we got there, Friday, Ryan and Brett went golfing and that night we went to some big carnival like thing that they were having in the park. We had a really good time and we got our picture drawn. Don't we look great

Smores

We went to Burley last weekend because I helped throw one of my friends from high schools bridal shower, and we also got to spend some time with our good friends Kreg and Tati who are living in Rupert for the summer. We miss you!

Chukars Baseball

Brett, Avery, and I all went to a Idaho Falls Chukars baseball game last week. It was the first time we had been to one of there games and we really had fun and plan to go to more. Even Avery had a good time she had her first taste of cotton candy. We had great seats and the Chukars won! Brett really liked the game as you can tell I told him to smile for a picture and he did, but his eyes are still on the game.

Avery even got to have her own seat when she wanted to sit in it.
